During an interview with HYPEBEAST regarding the comedian’s upcoming show at Dubai Comedy Fest on May 12, Russell Peters talks about his go-to sneakers and appreciation for comfort and shares an exclusive announcement for a forthcoming project he’s working on.

Collaborating with a company in Virginia, USA, Peters is currently in the design stage for his very own pair of sneakers. “It’s kind of in the line of dress sneakers. Stuff you can wear with a suit, but still look very cool and are very comfortable”.

The kicks are expected to drop near the end of this year and will be exclusive to the Middle East, Canada and Asia. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.

In other footwear news, the New Balance 550 is coming in “White/Grey”.
