London-Based Imprint PICANTE Teases "Class of 2022" Capsule for SS22
Bringing a fresh instalment of jersey for UK streetwear.
London-based imprint PICANTE is now standing firm as a fully-fledged streetwear front-runner within the capital. However, following January’s release of its well-received ‘Home Alone‘-inspired capsule, the collective is now teasing its latest “Class of 2022” collection for Spring/Summer.
Coming as a solid capsule full of branded, vintage-wash hoodies with the PICANTE logo across the chest, the drop also includes new crewneck sweatshirts and sweatpants, too. Steering away from its sportswear affiliations of recent times, PICANTE is now priding itself on heavyweight cut and sew garments while continuing to pay homage to the original Champion hoodies that were used during the brand’s launch through using an interpreted ‘P’ logo on the sleeves.
Alongside the new collection, a 2022 alumni is also being released, including DJ Fat Tony, Flossie, Isaac Carew, and Danny Lomas: all of which inspired the brand during its earliest days of growth through to where it is now.
The new collection is available this Friday, May 6, on the brand’s website. You can take a closer look at the campaign above.
In other news, Louis Vuitton has released Virgil Abloh’s pre-fall 2022 LV Driver Loafers.
