Danny Lomas Gears Up for Centre Court at Wimbledon with evian®

This year’s Wimbledon is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet. As well as welcoming a new generation of tennis players, its Official Water partner, evian®, marks its 200th anniversary on the grounds by decking out its hospitality suite for VIP guests.
In an exclusive first look at the space, fashion enthusiast Danny Lomas heads to the tournament on opening week, taking Hypebeast along the way in a new installment of Day in the Life. As a presenter and cultural commentator, Lomas is all too familiar with choosing the right outfit for events like Wimbledon, and with the addition of the summer sun, he opts for an outfit that will see him through the heat of the day while fitting the sleek summer dress code.
After selecting a head-to-toe look at his studio, the presenter unboxes evian®’s “200 Years Young” bottle bags designed by three British artists. Each bag, which drops in a limited run of 200 pieces, taps into the joyful spirit of evian® and Wimbledon through the artist’s respective practices in textile art, illustration and embroidery. For Lomas, the bold style of Hattie Stewart’s bottle bag stands out as his “personal favorite,” wearing it over his shoulder for the perfect finishing touch to his outfit.
Once he grabs an on-the-go macchiato, the presenter heads straight to the grounds, hitting up the evian® suite first. Named the “Mountain of Youth” after its famous tagline, the hospitality space features pink furniture, fridges of water bottles, and white tennis rackets as well as podiums holding its collection of bags that feels distinctly evian®.
A short walk away, crowds begin to fill centre court so Lomas takes his seat for a Women’s singles match. Keeping heat at bay with his newly purchased Wimbledon cap and bottle of evian®, Lomas looks onto the court and expresses his joy in ticking off “a bucket list item.”
