As a follow up to the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Lakers”, the Swoosh has added yet another iteration of its classic silhouette to its 40th-anniversary lineup. Nike continues to honor the Los Angeles Lakers with its “World Champ” Air Force 1 Low, this time in clean, white colorway.

The Nike Air Force 1 “World Champ” features a crisp, white leather base that is accented with cracked leather on the toe and mid-panel. Additional details include a patent leather Swoosh as well as matching sock liners and black and gold tongue tags. Defining features also include the wrestling belt-inspired dubraes, a nod to the iconic Lakers team with the purple insole. The white AF1 sits atop a black rubber outsole, rounding out the design.

The Nike Air Force 1 “World Champ” is expected to arrive in the coming months in select retailers and on Nike.

Elsewhere in footwear, Peter Moore, the designer of the Air Jordan 1 and Jumpman logo has died.
