Following the reintroduction of the collaborative low-top DRKSTARs, Rick Owens DRKSHDW and Converse join forces once again for two new monochromatic takes on the DRKSHDW TURBOWPN silhouette.

The TURBOWPN is a reimagined version of the Converse Weapon, a basketball shoe that commanded the hardwood in the late ’80s, worn by icons such as Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. For its second release, the TURBOWPN sneakers are introduced in “Clay” and “Egret” colorways featuring distorted and exaggerated proportions including an elongated tongue, puffed collars,  and stretched platform soles. Uppers arrive in a full premium leather build with DRKSHDW’s star sign etched on the laterals, and Converse’s logo imprinted on the medial sides.

In addition to footwear, a clay-colored cap and a black/cream drawstring bag bearing central DRKSHDW logos arrive as complementary accessories.

Look for the new Converse x DRKSHDW items to arrive globally on the Converse and Rick Owens websites, physical shops, and select retailers on May 3 for $200 USD.

Elsewhere in footwear, Bad Bunny’s adidas Forum Low Buckle arrives in “Blue Tint.”
