Future‘s newly-released album, I Never Liked You, is projected to debut at No. 1 on the U.S. album charts, moving approximately 175,000 to 200,000 equivalent album units in its first week, according to ChartData. On top of marking the largest debut of 2022, those figures would be the biggest of Future’s career, surpassing albums including 2015’s DS2 and 2017’s Future and HNDRXX.

The 16-track album, which clocks in at 50 minutes, includes several top-shelf features from artists including Kanye West on “Keep It Burnin’,” Gunna and Young Thug on “For a Nut,” Drake on “I’m On One” and “Wait For U,” EST Gee on “Chickens” and Kodak Black on “Voodoo.”

The record arrives as Future’s first solo full-length project since May 2020’s High Off Life, which debuted at No. 1. Additionally, I Never Liked You marks the rapper’s first album release since his joint record with Lil Uzi Vert, Pluto x Baby Pluto.

Future discussed the album in a recent interview with GQ, explaining that he is “putting himself out there” on the project. ”I believe in the energy of the universe and manifestation,” he added. “That’s why I’m giving myself, because I’m willing to correct myself. I don’t want to just…be wrong. I’m willing to give you all of me, so you can tell me how to build on me, and make me a better me.”

Elsewhere in music, Anderson .Paak celebrates artists worldwide with his new track “Yours to Take.”
