Continuing to develop its running innovations, Nike Running is now set to introduce its new “spark” midsole technology. Leading the development is the “Nike Spark Flyknit 1,” a brand new runner that takes advantage of the technology to assist performance.

Although not much is known about the shoe at the moment, the Nike Spark Flyknit 1 features a layered Flyknit upper construction complete with an inner bootie and see-through windows. Elevating the shoe are dual-density sculpted foam midsole outfitted with torsion plates marked with “14 09 11 05.” Finishing up the design of the shoe are flat laces, printed insoles and traction-focused rubber outsoles.

Take a first look at the Nike Spark Flyknit 1, expected to release later this year.
