JAY-Z‘s full performance at the 2001 Hot 97 Summer Jam festival has been unearthed and uploaded to YouTube, and it finally features clear footage of Hov bringing out the late Michael Jackson during his set.

The performance was shared by HipHopVCR and shows JAY walking out with Jackson, who is dressed in all black. The footage’s sound is overpowered by the crowd going crazy at the surprise and the King of Pop can be heard telling the crowd that he loves them.

In addition, this set of Hov’s marked his debut of “Takeover,” his diss track aimed at Nas and the late Prodigy. JAY performs verses aimed at the Mobb Deep member, showing a photo of a young Prodigy in what seems to be a leotard as he raps the line “You was a ballerina, I got the pictures, I seen ya.”

In other JAY-Z news, the rapper was present with Diddy and Fat Joe to watch DJ Khaled receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
