Knicks Fans Would Appreciate This Upcoming Nike Dunk High Colorway
For the Trae Young hecklers.
Being that Nike is so deeply rooted in sports and the Dunk was originally created as a basketball model, there’s no easier place to turn for design inspiration than the NBA. So for the Swoosh’s upcoming Nike Dunk High colorway, the brand has turned to a bold blue and orange arrangement that is strongly reminiscent of the beloved New York Knicks.
These kicks are in no way, shape or form officially associated with the team that calls Madison Square Garden home, but they are dressed in its signature colors. The uppers are devised with smooth leather side panels and heels. Swooshes, overlays, heel tabs and interior linings are dyed in a bold orange hue while the toe boxes, quarters and collars are treated with a deep navy hue to channel a similar look to the Knicks’ away threads. Shoelaces bring in slightly more contrast as they are dialed to a lighter shade of blue to complete the palette that Spike Lee and avid Trae Young hecklers would enjoy.
