Louis Vuitton has unveiled its latest unisex fragrance “City of Stars.” Inspired by the West Coast, the new evening cologne expands the French house’s attention to fluid, yet bold offerings.
As a nod to the creative vibrancy of Los Angeles, the scent features notes of citrus, Tiare flower and sandalwood for a versatile aroma. By fusing these ingredients, Louis Vuitton conveys the sweetness, grit and boldness that exists on the West Coast – making a sophisticated evening scent.
“It’s a more extroverted eau than its predecessors. It’s radically focused on the special, shimmering atmosphere of a night in Los Angeles when the singular setting sun gives way to the city’s lights and spotlights that traverse the sky,” said Louis Vuitton master perfumer, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. “The light comes from the explosion of a citrus quintet: blood orange, lemon, red mandarin, bergamot and lime.”
The “City of Stars” fragrance also features a fragrance trunk and travel case designed with original artwork by contemporary artist Alex Israel.
Ranging in price from $280 USD to $410 USD, the “City of Stars” fragrance is available now on Louis Vuitton’s website.
