Beams to Release Clarks Originals Desert Trek "Sand Suede"
Equipped with GORE-TEX fabrics and Vibram soles.
Shortly following Volume 1 of its SS22 “Amekaji” collection, BEAMS is now releasing a special-edition Clark Originals Desert Trek in a “Sand Suede” colorway.
Arriving alongside a CP Company collaboration, the upcoming pairs celebrate the 50th-anniversary of the iconic Desert Trek footwear silhouette with a variety of weatherproof upgrades. Uppers arrive in moisture-wicking GORE-TEX suede and leather fabrics with silver-speckled rope laces. Details include raw seam lines that run down the middle of the toe box and tongue, a GORE-TEX label stitched along the collar, and the “Trek Man” symbol emblazoned on the heel tab. A lightweight grooved Vibram sole unit below completes the outdoors-ready design.
The Clarks Originals Desert Trek “Sand Suede” will be available at the BEAMS website and physical retailers starting April 16 for ¥33,000 JPY (approximately $264 USD).
