Pharrell Williams recently took the time to expand his growing skincare brand Humanrace with humidifying body cream, and now he’s reeling back our attention to his catalog with adidas. The creative polymath recently previewed his upcoming Pharrell x adidas Hu NMD S1 RYAT “Black” colorway, and now we’ve got an up-close look at the pair.

The silhouette is built with a bulky frame and comes styled with a stealthy makeover. Leather collars are connected to canvas quarter panels and perforated overlays on the lateral walls, all of which are dyed in a solid black. A bold blue panel pokes out through the lateral heels, and the rear is decorated with a shaggy suede gray overlays and orange heel tabs. Humanrace branding makes its way onto the tongues in bold white font. The entire bottom unit — which is borrowed from the inline adidas Hu NMD S1 is also devised with the all-black theme and comes forged with repetitive Trefoil logos underneath.

These will be dropping in the coming months via adidas so sift through detailed on-foot shots above while you wait for them to arrive.

In other news, the release date for the adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 MNVN “Geode” has been revealed.
