The Tyler Herro x Hudson Capsule Riffs on Old-School Workwear Silhouettes

The new Tyler Herro x Hudson collection introduces three new denim cuts in various custom-dyed washes inspired by old-school workwear silhouettes.

The capsule marks the denim label’s first branded partnership with a professional athlete. Tyler Herro, Miami Heat’s point guard, was named “Best Dressed Athlete” by Sports Illustrated in December of 2021 and has continued to garner media attention for his drippy fits. At 20 years old, Herro was the youngest rookie to start in an NBA finals game.

Joining Hudson on its new denim capsule, Herro adapts his life mottos as style names for the new straight leg and stacked skinny cuts: “NO WORK, NO CHECK” and “SLOWMOTION.” Tyler Herro x Hudson incorporates an ethos of handwork and determination in its collection:

The capsule draws cutwork inspiration from vintage carpenter and painter pants, adopting a slouchy, relaxed straight leg cut reminiscent of 1950s workwear silhouettes. The featured denim arrives in seven custom washes with select garments tailored in longer inseams to accommodate taller frames.

The capsule collection arrives March 2 on Hudson’s and Neiman Marcus’ home websites and nationally in-stores at Neiman Marcus.
