HEIMPLANET and 66°North's Cave Tent is Suitable for All Icelandic Conditions
Arriving in a bright orange colorway inspired by safety shelters across the country.

HEIMPLANET has unveiled a new collaboration with Icelandic outerwear specialist 66°North. The collaboration focuses around HEIMPLANET’s signature inflatable Cave Tent, mixing the label’s technical expertise with 66°North’s heritage of creating durable outerwear.
The tent has been designed to handle all seasons in Iceland, with a strong geodesic dome construction and the use of weatherproof and durable materials to protect against wind, snow and rain. In this collaborative release, the tent has been dressed in a bright orange color as a nod to safety shelters across Iceland, painted in that color to stand out against the terrain. The inflatable tent can be erected in less than a minute, and features an expanded design to allow space for three or four people.
Announcing the collaboration, HEIMPLANET co-founder Stefan Clauss said:
“Since the beginning, Iceland has always been our reference for heavy tent conditions Many people have told us that Iceland is the ultimate proving ground for the stability of a tent. Therefore Iceland and its harsh conditions have always been our benchmark. To now take all our experience to build a tent to match the demands of Iceland is a dream coming true.”
The collaborative Cave XL 4-Season Tent is available now from both the 66°North and HEIMPLANET web stores.
