Drake has officially been bitten by the sports card bug.

It was recently reported that the artist was on the hunt for Panini‘s first introduction of the Triple Logoman insert card. Part of the 2021 Flawless NBA basketball card collection, each set comes in a premium secure latched box where it only contains 10 cards. The most outrageous thing about this set is that they are currently priced at a starting price of $15,000 USD — that’s $1,500 USD a card.

Drake’s quest for the Triple Logoman insert led him to buy a staggering 14 boxes which would have a street value of roughly $200,000 USD. Purchased from LA FAV Cards, one box was opened live with no luck. Things got even more interesting when Layton Sports Cards pulled the Giannis Antetokounmpo/Kevin Durant/Stephen Curry Triple Logoman card, taking one out of circulation for Drake. Each one of these Triple Logoman inserts is just 1/1 with five variations in total — there’s even a very special #1 LeBron James insert with each logo representing the different teams he has played for. You can find the checklist for the Triple Logomans below:

1. LeBron James – Cleveland Cavaliers/Los Angeles Lakers/Miami Heat
2. Anthony Edwards/LaMelo Ball/Tyrese Haliburton – Minnesota Timberwolves/Charlotte Hornets/Sacramento Kings
3. Giannis Antetokounmpo/Kevin Durant/Stephen Curry – Milwaukee Bucks/Brooklyn Nets/Golden State Warriors
4. Jayson Tatum/Luka Doncic/Zion Williamson – Boston Celtics/Dallas Mavericks/New Orleans Pelicans
5. Draymond Green/Klay Thompson/Stephen Curry – Golden State Warriors

In other collectible card news, a rare first-edition Charizard card sold for $336,000 USD at Heritage Auctions.
