J.I.D and Dr. Dre Spotted in the Studio Together
Possibly cooking something up for ‘The Forever Story.’
J.I.D and Dr. Dre could be cooking up something big.
The Dreamville signee and Aftermath Records founder were recently spotted in the studio together, with J.I.D over by the board and Dre with headphones on in front of a mic — hinting that the hip-hop legend could be working on vocals. The pair’s names can also be spotted written on the board, further fuelling theories that fans can hear some bars from Dre.
J.I.D is hard at work as his preps his upcoming album The Forever Story, which will mark his first full-length solo project since 2018’s DiCaprio 2. Although the album was initially teased in January 2021, the Atlanta artist entered 2022 with the new single “Surround Sound” with Baby Tate and 21 Savage.
