Adsum Celebrates Arts and Crafts With First SS22 Release
Introducing new graphics, styles, and denim for the first time.
New York-based imprint Adsum has revealed the first drop from its Spring/Summer 2022 collection, drawing on ideas from arts and crafts for inspiration. A particular reference point comes from bad weather on Spring days, forcing people inside and to embrace new activities such as reading, writing, drawing and music.
The Spring influence is showcased through the collection’s seasonal colors of “Goldenmoss” — referencing the color of the earth — and “Lemongrass,” as a nod to the new plants beginning to break through. The arts and crafts theme also extends to architectural and fine art movements, which are referenced through the collection’s motifs and artwork.
One of the highlights from the SS22 release is Adsum’s first pair of stone washed denim, constructed with a relaxed fit in heavy 14oz indigo dyed denim and finished with a suede branding patch. The collection also introduces lacrosse-inspired Lax shorts, two-tone hats, and graphic tees that reference horticulture service logos, Why Man Creates and vintage psychology journal covers.
The first drop from Adsum’s SS22 collection is available now from the brand’s web store. The collection will continue with a new Classics collection — and Merrell collaboration — later this month.
