The Lexus LFA is a formidable Japanese supercar that can more than keep up with its Italian, British, and German rivals, but one fitted with the Nürburgring Package only dials things up to eleven. Now, a very clean example in “Orange” with just 2,000 miles on the clock has sold via Bring a Trailer for a staggering amount.

This particular example is #349 of 500 and just one of 64 examples produced with the Nürburgring Package, making it incredibly rare. As a result, it now features Nürburgring Package-specific carbon-fiber aero equipment as well as carbon-composite bodywork, working alongside standard essentials such as the carbon-ceramic brake rotors with Brembo calipers, heated and power-adjustable seats, a Lexus Insider infotainment system with voice command and navigation, and a Mark Levinson audio system.

Naturally, it also comes packed with a 4.8-liter V10 paired with a six-speed Automated Sequential Gearbox and a Torsen limited-slip differential, sending 563 HP to the rear wheels as the V10 screams via the trio of exhaust pipes at the rear, set up in the car’s distinctive triangular fashion. By adding the special pack, which cost $70,000 USD when the car was new, the LFA receives a carbon-fiber front spoiler, front canards, and a fixed rear wing along with a revised suspension, lightweight alloy wheels, and a 10 HP increase over the standard LFA.

With all of this considered, the Lexus LFA Nürburgring Package you see above has just sold for an eye-watering $1,625,000 USD. Take a look at the car above.

In related news, a vintage Porsche-branded transporter bus is also up for sale.
