Tesla is now recalling yet another 578,000 vehicles over concerns with its Boombox feature.

According to Reuters, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has found that the company’s Boombox feature, which allows drivers to play music and sounds through an external speaker system, has the potential to overpower the required sounds from its Pedestrian Warning System, a federal safety regulation that requires an EV to make clearly audible sound when it’s traveling at speeds below 18.6 mph.

2020-2022 Model X, Y, and S vehicles as well as 2017-2022 Model 3 cars are affected by the recall, and Tesla will now be issuing an OTA update to disable Boombox when the vehicles are in Drive, Neutral or Reverse.

As Engadget points out, this will be the automaker’s fourth recall in two weeks. Earlier, the company recalled a whopping 820,000 cars over faulty seatbelt notifications, and other recalls involved issues with “phantom braking” with its Full Self Driving program as well as another one for slow heating systems. Since the beginning of 2021, Tesla has had 15 recalls.

Elsewhere in the automotive industry, Alfa Romeo has introduced its first-ever crossover.
