TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. and New Era have linked up for a second round of collaborative products that nods to the Yomiuri Giants — a professional baseball team that’s based in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan.
In this new assemblage, Takahiro Miyashita highlights his signature font and applies to a range of apparel and headwear. For the clothing pieces, the Japanese designer has prepared a collection of graphic heavy pullover hoodies and long-sleeve tees. The former is graced with the Yomiuri Giants’ logo in Miyashita’s signature font on the left chest and back side while a “GIANTS” hit is printed on the left sleeve. TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. branding also lands on the hood for extra flair. The long-sleeve tees are styled similarly, but also feature the URL to the artist’s website on the lower back. Releasing alongside these pieces are the Jet Caps that come in black/orange and black/white colorways, both of which are accessorized with all-over Yomiuri Giants text.
Parties interested in copping can find the collection available now via TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist.’s web shop. Prices for the collection range from ¥10,890 for a hat to ¥18,590 for the hoodies (approx. $95-161 USD).
