Jamie Foxx Teases "The Next Step" With Kanye West on Instagram Live
“We cooking,” the pair confirmed.

Kanye West and Jamie Foxx could be working on something new.
The previous collaborators ran into each other just days after the second episode of Ye’s Netflix documentary, jeen-yuhs, premiered on the streaming service. “Yo man, we cooking, we cooking,” Foxx confirmed on Instagram live as he stood next to Ye. “I told you man, back at that time, man, [Kanye] was young and hungry. Now look at us. There’s a reason we ran into each other.”
West reaffirmed Foxx’s statements, saying, “God got a plan, definitely,” to which Foxx responded, “Definitely. Can’t wait for y’all to see the next step.”
The latest episode of jeen-yuhs gave fans a closer look at the pair recording “Slow Jamz” with Twista in Foxx’s home studio in 2003. The track went on to appear in both Twista’s Kamikaze and West’s The College Dropout, peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration in 2005.
