Gramicci Wants You to Take a Hike For SS22

A nod to its extensive ‘90s archive.

For Spring/Summer 2022, adventure label Gramicci is further exploring the outdoors and its various elements to craft an apparel collection that serves as a nod to the brand’s extensive ‘90s archive.

Combining its Californian roots and a Japanese sensibility and point of view, SS22 takes things back to the brand’s beginnings, where purpose and functionality are the focal point.

The spirit of the outdoors comes to life in the form of canvas reinforcements, webbing loops and panelling on Gadget Pants, while an overdyed ripstop fabric — which gets better with age — is introduced on the new Jam Shorts and Pants.

Graphics play a major role this season and are divided into three themes. The first is three variations of Gramicci’s classic logo, the second is the voice of seasonal characteristics (bringing back a ‘90s vibe with authentic prints of G-shorts and Gramicci’s own hiking character), and the last is a nod to the brand’s birthplace: Yosemite.

Take a look at the full SS22 collection in the slideshow above, all of which will be available to shop via the Gramicci webstore from mid-March.
