One could make the argument that fashion in the realm of golf has never been as popular as it is in the current day. Various sportswear and streetwear brands are gradually finding ways to make the game more trendy through the production of apparel and footwear that have street sensibility, and one that has really bought into this idea is Jordan Brand. The imprint has often morphed its retro silhouettes into green-ready offerings, and the latest to emerge is the Air Jordan 12 Low Golf “Taxi.”

As you can probably guess from its moniker, this forthcoming colorway is a nod to the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” that originally debuted in November 1996. It’s been chopped down to a lower profile but features all of the classic design details such as the puffy and white premium leather base layers as well as the pebbled leather mudguards that are coated in black. The lace loops by the collars and the heel tabs are fitted with gold accents to reference its muse, but they arrive in a slightly darker shade that allows this makeup to stand on its own. Bottoms of the kicks have been bolstered with cleats to help you move smoothly on the fairway.

Jordan Brand hasn’t announced an exact release date yet, but you can likely find Nike dropping these in the coming weeks.

In other news, the Off-White™️ x Air Jordan 4 “Bred” will not be dropping.
