Official Images of the Concepts x Nike Air Max 1
This colorway is styled with washed denim, bandana prints, velour tongues and more.
Nike currently has a laundry list of collaborators, but few have been as consistent and have as much heritage as its ongoing partnership with Concepts. Together, the two entities have joined forces on a multitude of silhouettes including the SB Dunk Low, Kyrie 7 and more, and now the duo is set to embark on its next venture that involves the Air Max 1. A trio of colorways are expected to come out of this new release, and one of the entries has now been officially unveiled.
Deon Point and his Concepts crew did not hold back when it came to the mixing of fabrics and graphics on this makeup. Canvas mudguards immediately catch your eye with their dusted green coating, but this is complemented by light denim wash toe boxes and quarters, bandana heels, tribal collar patterns and faux cowhide near the bottom of the throat. Swooshes are decorated with stripes on the lateral side and floral embroidery on the medial, while the tongues add in some elevated allure given their velour textures. The kicks come with a guitar pick-inspired hangtag and vividly styled insoles, and they come packaged inside a special Concepts-branded shoebox.
No release date has been announced yet by the streetwear retailer or Nike, but early reports are saying that a launch in March is likely.
