The Striking Distance Studios x Ceeze Air Force 1 Special Field Is Ready for Combat
Paying tribute to SDS’s ‘The Callisto Protocol’ video game.

Video game development franchise Striking Distance Studios has tapped New York-based designer Ceeze for a custom battle-ready pair of Nike Air Force 1 Special Fields.
The design pays tribute to SDS’s debut sci-fi video game, The Callisto Protocol, which pulls you into the universe of Jacob Lee, who fights to escape the Black Iron Prison. The penitentiary sees inmates transform into unruly monsters following the outburst of a life-threatening virus.
Stepping into the dangerous prison, Striking Distance Studios and Ceeze unite to give wearers a fighting chance against the frightening creatures. Dubbed the “CP-AF1,” the ultra-high-top shoe is reimagined with a darkened palette of grey, black, and orange. Overlapping tumbled leather dresses the toe boxes and necks, while grey panels hit the medials beneath orange Nike Swooshes accented with exposed stitching. Black leather mudguards extend into the forefeet and lacing systems, accompanied by 3M hits, branded metal buckles, and “CALLISTO AIR” tongue tags.
Gruesome graphics from the game enhance the insoles, while the bespoke shoe is complete with traditional Nike Air sole units.
The Striking Distance Studios x Ceeze custom Air Force 1 Special Field delivered with a copy of The Callisto Protocol will be raffled on Ceeze’s Instagram account, closing on December 10.
