PUMA Throws It Back for Its Rider FV Archive Remastered

PUMA has reached into its archives to present a revitalized version of its Rider FV sneaker, and this time, it’s coming in the form of the Rider FV Archive Remastered to celebrate 75 years of the classic design.

Throwing it back to the heritage hallmarks of the silhouette — such as the classic upper — the sneaker has been reworked into a modernized version of the past and it effortlessly fits into PUMA’s Rider mainline which has seen high-profile collaborations and popular general releases alike. For example, PUMA’s Rider umbrella has dropped the limited-edition Cloud9 x PUMA Future Rider sneaker which took elements from one of the footwear brand’s most iconic running shoes: the 1980 Fast Rider.

However, for this new release from PUMA, the sneaker giant has produced a slick and understated design that is coated with hues of dark green along the lateral sides, toe box, heel, and tongue branding. Furthermore, the shoe is also covered in tones of black across the laces, upper and around the white rubber outsole, rounding off the colors, small golden details tie everything together on the laces, PUMA heel branding, and on the hangtag.

Additionally, the sneaker is also designed with a mesh upper with hairy suede overlays, while its EVA midsole sits alongside a collection of leather paneled detailing.
