Nike is adding yet another color iteration to its popular Sean McDowell design. The Nike Air Max Plus silhouette was originally released in 1998 and was re-released in 2018 for its 20th-anniversary celebration. Now, the shoe continues to gain momentum and popularity.

Looking to 2023, the Air Max Plus is arriving in a new black/university blue colorway. The offering sees the shoe constructed with a black, mesh base, nubuck mudguards and tongues. The all-black color scheme is complemented with university blue accents seen on the TPU caging, where the blue gradually fades into the black, as well as highlights the mini Swoosh symbol. The same blue is seen on the outsole while 3M reflective details highlight the TN branding on the outsole and heel. It sits atop a black midsole and blue rubber outsole to round out the design.

Take a look above at the official images of the Nike Air Max Plus “Black/University Blue” releasing in 2023 at select retailers and Nike for $175 USD.
