LEGO Adds a Jazz Club to Its Modular Buildings Collection
Jam out with this 2,899 piece set.
Since 2007, LEGO has released at least one entry in its Modular Buildings Collection. As 2023 rapidly approaches, the trend continues with the newest set to join the series, a Jazz Club. For the tenth year in a row, the modular set’s launch takes place at the start of the year. It joins classics such as Assembly Square and the Parisian Restaurant with a design that combines with other Modular Buildings with ease.
The second modular LEGO set to center around entertainment — following 2013’s Palace Cinema — a bustling Jazz Club comes to life. Its design combines a beautifully decorated space with eight thematic minifigures that include a bassist, drummer, chef, music fans and the set’s central character, a jazz singer. The hip spot serves not only as a music venue but also features a pizza parlor and rooftop garden. Measuring at 10-12 inches in each dimension, a new building technique has been introduced with the set’s 45-degree doorway.
Release for the LEGO Icons Jazz Club is currently scheduled for January 4 via LEGO stores worldwide with early access for LEGO VIPs taking place January 1. Priced at $230 USD, the set is packed with 2,899 pieces and eight minifigures.
