Tyler, the Creator is in the next chapter of his ongoing partnership with Converse as he has honed in on growing the catalog of his new GLF. 2.0 sneaker. The silhouette has been dropping at a rather steady pace and has launched in “Brilliant White,” “Oil Green/Bison” and “Curry/Copper Tan” colorways, and now it has resurfaced onto our radar in a new “Verdant Green/Seaport” palette.

If you’ve been following along the Call Me If You Get Lost rapper’s journey in the last year, you may have noticed that he teased this iteration long before the new model was even announced. A viral video of the LA native floated around the Internet that showcased him producing the instrumental for his song “SWEET” — track 10 off of the aforementioned record — and he was spotted rocking this colorway.

Mr. Okonma has a penchant for toying with vibrant colors in his wearable products and that is exactly what’s put on display here. Its “Verdant Green” hue is applied to the quarter panels while the curvy-edged overlays, thick laces, tongues and interior liners are done up in “Seaport.” The artist’s new boat logo lands on the tongues while the midsoles are styled in an off-white hue and the treading is covered in dusty pink.

For those interested in copping, you can find these releasing via Converse on December 9 for $110 USD.

Elsewhere in footwear, check out the A-COLD-WALL* x Converse Geo Forma Boot in “Volt” and “Lily White.”
