adidas NMD S1 Gets Arranged in a "Core Black/Alt Blue" Palette
Closing out the year with a stealthy makeover.
Before 2022 rolls its credits in a few weeks time, adidas is making it a point to pump out as many sneaker releases of its NMD S1 as it can. The model was recently highlighted for its collaborative initiatives alongside luxury luggage label RIMOWA and Philllllthy, but now it’s diverting our attention back to its inline releases and bringing attention to its new “Core Black/Alt Blue” colorway.
Three Stripes designers opted to go with a stealthy motif for this newest installment. Save for the gray laces as well as the white PrimeKnit areas atop the quarter panels and heightened parts of the heels, the rest of the upper half is fitted in “Core Black.” Slivers of charcoal gray suede tabs are located on the tongues, both of which host subtle notes of “Alt Blue” on its Trefoil branding. Moving downwards, the substantial midsole units are also given a “Core Black” paint job while “Alt Blue” accents poke out through the thin molds that are positioned on the forefoot and heel. Treading down below is sculpted with a collection of tonal Trefoil logos to complete its arrangement.
Retailers like Asphalt Gold are slated to drop these come December 15 for €179 ($189 USD).
