Burberry and OnSide Launch Youth Support Program In Time for Christmas

Welcoming children from disadvantaged backgrounds to inclusive OnSide Youth Zones.

Amid the global cost of living crisis, price surges, and drastic weather changes, British luxury label Burberry is uniting with national youth charity OnSide to support children through these difficult times.

The new initiative will see the duo provide young people living in troubled areas with an inclusive OnSide Youth Zone that allows them access to warm food, heating, and a welcoming community for all. The partnership debut marks the first step in Burberry and OnSide’s extensive alliance, which will continue to empower the next generation with safe spaces and creative environments.

Furthermore, Burberry will participate in the charity’s Network Winter Hunger Appeal by contributing thousands of freshly cooked meals to children at the Youth Zone this winter. U.K. food charity FareShare and three other international institutions will also receive donations throughout the festive season.

Speaking on the partnership, Caroline Laurie, VP of Corporate Responsibility at Burberry says:

“We are delighted to support food banks across the world this winter and commence our partnership with OnSide through their OnSide Network Winter Hunger Appeal. OnSide and their dedicated team provide vital support to young people and those impacted by the cost of living crisis. Together, we hope that our donation can help the Youth Zones continue to provide a safe and warm environment where young people can access food and support.”
