JW Anderson's FW22 Boots Present Padded Perfection

JW Anderson‘s unhinged Spring/Summer 2023 collection might be available to shop now, but that doesn’t mean you can’t cop some of the House’s winter-ready pieces for the cold days ahead. This is where FW22‘s padded fabric lace-up boots come in, arriving online in either a black or pink colorway for the chilly season.
While the pair seen on the runway came in teal, this colorway is currently not available online. Instead, a trusty black hue or a hot pink vision is applied to the padded boots, a pair that explores Jonathan Anderson‘s love for shapes and texture as he so often does with his work for his own label and LOEWE.
The boots are made from polyester up top and rubber for the sole unit, coming together for a chunky aesthetic. Roundness is key, leaning into JW Anderson’s Bumper range with a toe, tongue, and side construction that’s bulbous and playful. However, tactile elements like rope laces hanging on metal hiking eyelets, a tie system at the rear that weaves against branded webbing, and a ridged outsole make this pair fit for outdoor excursions.
