The adidas adiFOM Q Arrives in "Halo Blue" and "Legend Ink"
The clog-like sneaker continues its debut run.
For adidas, 2022 has been a polarizing year. Tensions rose and ultimately climaxed between adidas and Ye as the two went their separate ways in October. Leading up to this, the brand had continued to creep further into the duo’s design language with new silhouettes such as the Adilette 22 and adiFOM Q, towing the boundary of “inspired by” versus “rip off.” Now, the two have effectively replaced their respective adidas YEEZY SLIDE and YEEZY FOAM RNNR predecessors as go-to options.
As the adiFOM Q continues to build momentum, adidas has revealed two new colorways. Appearing in “Halo Blue” and “Legend Ink,” the first look showcases an interior bootie in black with a “Halo Blue” Trefoil logo at its tongue that matches the wavy exoskeleton that can either encase the bootie or be worn on its own. As for its “Legend Ink” counterpart, a black exterior hosts a beige sock-like inner layer that matches the shoe’s laces.
Release for both upcoming colorways of the adidas adiFOM Q is currently expected to take place this month via adidas and select retailers at a price of $120 USD. Stay tuned as we await official details from the Three Stripes in the coming weeks.
