adidas Taps Into Nature With the Mocaturf Adventure

Since parting ways with Ye, adidas has relied heavily on its adidas Originals line to keep the brand afloat with boundary pushing styles. One such silhouette that has explored a new presentation for the brand in 2022 is the Mocaturf Adventure. Inspired by nature and fine craftmanship, the moccasin-like upper blends a traditional feeling with modern flair. Equipped for wandering the streets and wilderness alike, the sneaker is a fresh step in a new direction for the Three Stripes.

Landing in “Bliss” and “Clear Granite” colorways, the Mocaturf Adventure sticks to a heavy suede upper with both looks. Stitching is leveraged as a design element as its mudguard meets the upper panel with emphasized protruding linework that wraps around the shoe. Backing this, Adiprene+ cushioning is included at the rugged sole unit to ensure durability and comfort. As for the two color schemes, “Bliss” favors a soft brown upper with a sky blue heel tab carrying the Trefoil logo whereas “Clear Granite” goes a bit darker with its brown and blue hues.
