The Weeknd Teases New Music for ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’
Out for streaming on December 15.
Following his standout appearance on “Creepin’” off of Metro Boomin’s new album Heroes & Villains, which dropped on Friday, The Weeknd has even more new music in store for fans. The singer will be contributing to the soundtrack for the highly-anticipated flick Avatar: The Way of Water with a song called “Nothing is Lost (You Give Me Strength).”
The single was written by The Weeknd and produced by Swedish House Mafia and Simon Franglen.
The Weeknd took to social media to share a clip of the film soundtracked to his new song, sharing that “Nothing is Lost” will premiere in full on December 15, followed by the film’s debut on December 16.
Avatar: The Way of Water is a sequel to James Cameron’s acclaimed 2009 film of the same name, with the original director returning. Cameron also produced the movie alongside Jon Landau.
