Abrams and 'Rolling Stone' Unveil Companion Book to '500 Greatest Albums of All Time' List
Based on the 2020 list that includes Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade,’ Kendrick Lamar‘s ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ and more.
Abrams and Rolling Stone have teamed up to deliver a companion book to Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Album of All Times list.
The oversized hardcover book arrives with 200 colored photographs across 256 pages, and “tells the stories behind every album through incredible Rolling Stone photography, original album art, Rolling Stone’s unique critical commentary, breakout pieces on the making of key albums, and archival interviews.” Rolling Stone’s list was rebooted in 2020 after it was last updated in 2012 and launched in 2003, with the likes of Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Stevie Nicks, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Nile Rodgers, Questlove, Finneas, The Edge and Adam Clayton of U2, Alice Cooper, Big Boi, Gene Simmons, H.E.R., Hanson, Carly Rae Jepsen and Marcus King joining the voting body.
A panel discussion focusing on the companion book is also set to take place on January 31, 2023 at the Rizzoli Bookstore in New York City, with Rob Sheffield, Brittany Spanos and other members of the Rolling Stone editorial staff set to appear.
The 500 Greatest Album of All Times book is available for purchase now on the Abrams website for $50 USD.
