Morgan Freeman and Florence Pugh Become Unlikely Friends in ‘A Good Person’ Trailer

A trailer is out for A Good Person, written and directed by Zach Braff. The movie sees Braff reconnect with collaborator Morgan Freeman, who stars alongside Florence Pugh.
The film centers on the aftermath of a fatal accident that takes the life of Allison’s (Pugh) would-be sister-in-law, who is also the daughter of Daniel (Freeman). Years after the accident, Allison struggles with drug and alcohol abuse, while Daniel is trying his best to raise his teenage granddaughter when the two reconnect and form an unexpected bond.
In one clip in the trailer, Allison and Daniel run into each other at an AA meeting. Although Allison attempts to run away before Daniel sees her, he convinces her to stay.
Molly Shannon appears alongside Pugh and Freeman as Allison’s concerned but well-meaning mother.
A Good Person will debut exclusively in theaters this March. Watch the trailer above.
