The designer reinterprets his ideal homecoming with the traditional football game and event that is often celebrated by varsity schools across the nation. This collection sees Thom Browne place 20 students on the field, half-dressed in navy rugby stripes and the other half in grey. The match is an ode to family traditions and collegiate culture that remains central to Browne’s creative direction.
This collection sees Notre Dame students take on the role of football players, spectators, and cheerleaders. The group is dressed in the signature Thom Browne grey, white and khaki color scheme that highlights the 2022 football capsule collection. The capsule fuses classic varsity elements with modern Americana, something Browne does best. Grey pleated skirts paired with the ball collar coat and sack jacket meet rugby polo shirts with the iconic four-stripe detail. The brand reveals its high-top canvas sneakers in grey and the red, blue and white moniker. In line with the changing seasons, the collection also features cashmere knits, cozy earmuffs and tuques, long johns and down-filled parkas. The collection extends to pets and children as they fit the role of spectator.
