TAG Heuer Drops Limited Edition Rainbow Dial Polychrome Tourbillon Chronograph
With just 150 pieces being made.

TAG Heuer has dropped a full spectrum limited edition ‘Polychrome’ version of its Carrera Tourbillon Chronograph.
The 150-piece limited edition chronograph uses a 45mm black PVD brushed grade 5 titanium case with a fixed carbon fiber tachymeter bezel. The same titanium is used for the crown, pushers and its screwed-down sapphire crystal caseback.
The all-black approach taken with the watch head – and its matte black alligator strap – serves to contrast the ‘Polychrome’ PVD treatment applied to the watch’s skeletonized dial, which replicates the various shades found in heat-treated metal.
The “positive coating” treatment sees metallic oxides applied in multiple, transparent layers with the thickness of the layers determining the color achieved. Powering the watch is TAG’s Calibre Heuer 02T COSC chronograph tourbillon automatic movement with 80-hour power reserve.
Each piece of the Carrera Tourbillon Chronograph ‘Polychrome’ is individually numbered and available now via TAG Heuer, priced $24,050 USD.
Elsewhere in watches, Porsche to auction off rebuilt 1972 911 with unique matching Chronograph 1.
