'God of War Ragnarök' Leads The Game Awards 2022 Nominations

The Game Awards has officially announced its 2022 nominees, with the likes of God of War Ragnarök, Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West leading this year’s nominations.

God of War Ragnarök is nominated for a total of 10 awards, while Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West are up for seven, Stray with six and A Plague Tale: Requiem with five; all these titles are also nominated for Game of the Year alongside Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Meanwhile, Sony Interactive Entertainment is the most nominated publisher with 20 nods, followed by Annapurna Interactive and Nintendo with 11 nominations each, Bandai Namco Entertainment with eight and Riot Games with six. 2022 also features the brand new Best Adaptation category, which sees Netflix‘s Arcane: League of Legends, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and The Cuphead Show! and the films Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Uncharted in the running.
