Run the Jewels Has a Nike SB Dunk Collab on the Way
“R-run them shoes fast/run them shoes fast/f*ck the slow-mo!”

Killer Mike and El-P have worked together as Run the Jewels for almost a decade, and in that time period they’ve dropped four albums — Run the Jewels, Run the Jewels 2, Run the Jewels 3 and RTJ4 — toured the world as a solo act many times over, hit the stage as the openers for Rage Against The Machine’s legendary reunion tour and released various “remix” projects, from 2015’s Meow the Jewels to this Friday’s forthcoming RTJ CU4TRO.
Never have they worked on their own sneaker, though — at least until now. Run The Jewels is teaming up with Nike, more specifically the Nike SB division, for new takes on the SB Dunk Low and SB Dunk High. First revealed by Instagram sneaker leak account @zsneakerheadz, Run the Jewels’ SB Dunk Low appears to feature a light blue and pink color scheme, with the group’s famous “hand sign” graphic split across the heels instead of standard Nike SB branding. The midsole also appears to be wrapped in blue leather, and the bottom of the insoles boasts special Run the Jewels prints on the heel’s Zoom Air units. An icy blue outsole with a special print can be seen as well, but it hasn’t been determined if that outsole belongs to the SB Dunk Low or the SB Dunk High.
Per a report from Brendan Dunne, the Run the Jewels x Nike SB Dunk collection is set to release on or around April 20, 2023, serving as the latest entry in the brand’s long-burning history of 4/20 drops. Neither Nike SB nor Run the Jewels have confirmed a date of arrival, however, so keep it locked for more info as soon as it’s available.
