Update: Fans of the explosive hip hop duo Run the Jewels have patiently waited for April to roll around as their collaborative SB Dunk collection has been rumored to drop on Killer Mike’s birthday since late 2022. Now, Nike has geared up for the drop with the reveal of both pairs’ imagery as the Run the Jewels x Nike SB Dunks are confirmed to be launching on April 20. The high-top pair lands at a $140 USD price point and is equipped with a fittingly exotic look for the group. For more details, check out our initial coverage of this SB Dunk High below.

Original Story: With just over a month left in the year, Nike already has sneakerheads eager for 2023’s scheduled releases. Its Nike SB division continues to make noise as noteworthy collaborations for the SB Dunk line next year includes the likes of Jarritos, Fly Streetwear and Run the Jewels. While there’s plenty more to look forward to from the Swoosh in the coming year, we’re now offered a detailed look at Run the Jewels’ SB Dunk High following its reveal last week alongside its matching SB Dunk Low.

Run the Jewels’ unmatched energy is captured by this colorway of the SB Dunk High as a black tumbled leather base is joined by exotic pony hair overlays in fuchsia. Additional detailing on the exterior includes jeweled Swooshes in black and golden dubrae resting atop pink laces. Looking closer at the pair, stash pockets arrive beneath the tongue and “RUN THE JEWELS” text on the hidden side of the SB Dunk High’s collar can be spotted. Lastly, a black midsole and fuchsia rubber outsole team up to complete this new look.

Currently, release for the Run the Jewels x Nike SB Dunk High is expected to take place on April 20, Killer Mike’s birthday, via Nike and select retailers. Stay tuned for more information regarding this pair and its accompanying SB Dunk Low.
