"Castlerock" Finds Its Way Onto the New Balance 2002RX
Another GORE-TEX-equipped colorway of the popular model.

Looking back on another successful year for New Balance, its 2002R silhouette and new “Castlerock” colorway have both shined bright throughout 2022. Now, following an “Eclipse/Castlerock” combination that launched in August, the 2002R takes on a pure “Castlerock” colorway.
“Natural Indigo” and “Brushed Nickel” also enter the color scheme as the 2002R sees itself in its upgraded 2002RX presentation that includes GORE-TEX technology to shield from the elements. The resulting colorway balances its signature gray with blue and green hues throughout. Premium suede and mesh outfits the upper as the signature “Castlerock” tone appears with a washed effect to its finish. GORE-TEX waterproof fabric backs this, protecting feet from water and wind while maintaining breathability. Its sole unit appears in a soft green at the ABZORB midsole while “Natural Indigo” covers the rubber outsole to complete the winter-ready look.
For those interested in grabbing a pair, the New Balance 2002RX “Castlerock” is available now via New Balance at a price of $180 USD. Take an official look above and act fast as sizes have already begun selling out.
