'Stranger Things' Star Joseph Quinn in Talks to Star in 'A Quiet Place' Prequel 'Day One'
Possibly opposite Lupita Nyong’o, who has been confirmed for the spinoff.
Stranger Things‘ Joseph Quinn is currently in talks to star in the upcoming A Quiet Place prequel, Day One.
According to reports, the actor — who became a fan-favorite for his role as Eddie Munson in the Netflix series — is discussing to join the spinoff in a lead role opposite Lupita Nyong’o, who has been confirmed for the film. Day One is set to premiere on March 8, 2024 and will be written and directed by Michael Sarnoski based on an idea from franchise creator and director John Krasinski.
Although Krasinski will not be in the director’s seat for Day One, he will be returning to direct the third film in the main A Quiet Place franchise that is scheduled to release some time in 2025. Plot details for both A Quiet Place III and Day One remain under wraps.
Elsewhere in entertainment, Netflix has introduced a feature allowing users to remotely log out individual devices from their accounts.
