The early 2000s was arguably the golden era for Nike and its Nike SB catalog as a plethora of rare collaborations and colorways were brought to fruition. One was the eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low from 2003 — which the Swoosh team designed a mere three pairs of. Fast forward 19 years later, the kicks have now resurfaced but with a modernized twist that pays homage to a variation that was gifted to the late Sandy Bodecker when he retired from Nike in ‘08.

The backdrop of its base layer is done up in pure white, and this allows its multi-colored accents to do most of the talking. Falling along the overlays, Swooshes, tongue banners, interior liners and heels are accents of blue, red, yellow and green — all of which reference eBay’s signature logo. Additionally, the kicks appear with a segmented aesthetic as three sections of the shoe are separated by see-through panels. Branding atop the tongues and heels have been modified with skewed-to-the-left SB branding (a nod to Bodecker), the former swapping out its usual Dunk Low hit for a NIKESBFOREVER hashtag. Special graphics also appear on the insoles: the right foot shows Bodecker trying on the original eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low, and the left shoe shows him holding longtime Nike employee James Arizumi’s son.

No release date has been announced at the time of writing.
