Following the release of 4-foot-tall “Snorlax” and “Ditto” bean bag chairs from Pokémon Center last year, Japanese furniture brand CELLUTANE now taps Pokémon for a “Slowpoke Slowpoke” sofa. Measuring 36 x 40 x 28 cm and weighing just 8.75 kg, the Slowpoke sofa mimics the water/psychic-type Pokémon’s features including its soft pink coat and dazed facial features featured on the backrest.

Rounding out the cozy single-seater are plush ears and a tail on the backside of the bottom cushion. The covers are all removable and can be washed directly with a washing machine. Similar offerings from CELLUTANE include couches inspired by Gengar, Rowlet, Ditto, and Snorlax as well as Pokéball ottomans.

The “Snorlax Snorlax” sofa is now available at the CELLUTANE website for ¥28,400 JPY (approximately $204 USD).

In other news, Virgil Abloh’s “Modular Imagination” collection for Cassina is now available.
