Sushi Nakazawa’s Daisuke Nakazawa, the protégé of chef Jiro Ono of Jiro Dreams of Sushi fame, is opening a permanent location in Los Angeles in 2023.

Sushi Nakazawa’s director of operations, Vito Ferraro, confirmed that the sushi chef’s third restaurant in the United States will be setting up shop at 145 North Robertson Boulevard “bearing no unforeseen setbacks.” The Los Angeles location follows the openings of Sushi Nakazawa’s restaurants in New York City and Washington D.C., with Eater L.A. noting that the menu may be priced around $180 USD per person with approximately 20 pieces of nigiri in Nakazawa’s signature style — seasoned rice, wasabi and a brush of soy sauce.

Stay tuned for more info on the opening.
