Philipp Plein Hosts an Intimate Night Celebrating New Watch and Jewelry Collection
The German designer invited guests into his penthouse showroom to kick-off the new Fall/Winter 22 and Spring/Summer 23 Watch and Jewelry offerings
German luxury house Philipp Plein is beginning to expand within the U.S. market with a store to open in New York’s SoHo area and an established NYC showroom, where he celebrated the exclusive launch of new FW22 and SS23 timepiece and jewelry designs on October 24th.
Joined by friends of the brand as well as Timex Group, the official maker of the watches, the collections were celebrated in glamorous fashion. The night included champagne and light bites at the designer’s penthouse space, which was fitting for equally glitzy pieces. The new watches show off brilliant crystals, multicolored faces, and bold skull emblems — a recurring symbol within Plein’s latest collections.
The $kull Diver is a standout of the FW22 collection — an up to 1000 meters water-resistant model with a 44mm case embodied by a 3D skull — as well as the $kull Carbon, a carbon-fiber finish model. Genderless styles round out the range, providing an option for every sensibility. These maximalist concepts are applied to Plein’s SS23 Jewelry collection as well.
Much like Plein’s signature ready-to-wear designs, each Plein timepiece and jewelry design makes a memorable statement, yet can be easily blended with different day or night looks. After the event at his showroom, the designer hosted an intimate dinner to continue the celebration. Notable attendees included Dina Khoury, Angel Zheng, Brian Griffin, Dorian Braxton, and more.
Philipp Plein watches and jewelry are now available at Macy’s.
