For 2022, the Nike Air Penny 2 resurfaced with serious momentum behind it. The subject of Social Status’ latest collaboration with Nike, Penny Hardaway’s second signature sneaker continues its return as Nike prepares additional colorways for the ’90s classic.

This time around, Nike has put together a fall-ready color scheme for the Air Penny 2 as it prepares to launch into the season. First, a forest green leather overlay sees itself wrap from the toe to heel. Above this, a black nubuck layer surrounds the lacing system with hits of burgundy scattered throughout, including at the tongue. The sneaker’s pull tabs utilize another dark green shade, going with the green sockliner while the Air Penny 2’s signature wavy midsole appears in white. Air technology is visible at the heel while a black rubber outsole completes this pair’s detailing.

Nike has yet to share any release information regarding this colorway of the Air Penny 2. Look for it to hit shelves in the coming months via Nike and select retailers at an expected price of $200 USD.

In case you missed it, the Nike Air Foamposite One is set to launch in a gray “Dream A World” colorway, featuring references to Seneca, a philosopher from Ancient Rome.
