Louis Vuitton Unveils Leather Goods Capsule for Fifa World Cup Qatar
Appearing in patterns recalling the movement of the net as a goal is scored.
With the World Cup only a month away, Louis Vuitton has unveiled an exclusive capsule designed especially for the highly-anticipated quadrennial footballing event. Since 2010, Louis Vuitton has provided the travel trunk for the FIFA World Cup Trophy, and unveiled its first leather goods collection in celebration of the last tournament in 2o18.
For the 2022 FIFA World series, Louis Vuitton crafts five collectible pieces in black Taurillon leather. The various carrying options are embossed with the Maison’s emblematic Damier motif across the exterior surfaces in a waved pattern, recalling the movement of the net as a goal is scored. Included in the series are icons such as the Keepall 50, City Keepall, and Discovery Backpack which return as practical travel companions featuring large central compartments, inner pockets for essentials, and adjustable straps accented with black metallic hardware.
Keepall 50 bags also feature five bottom studs shaped like football cleats and “Louis Vuitton”-stamped leather tags shaped like soccer league badges. Rounding out the series are small leather goods including a Dopp kit with contrasting piping and an adjustable leather handle.
The Louis Vuitton Fifa World Cup 2022 collection is now available in select Louis Vuitton stores and online.
